| City Center |
 |
This is the heartbeat of both Skopje and Macedonia. This is home to Parliament, where all the national laws are made. The different offices of government, or Ministries, are scattered throughout this area. All sorts of commerce are visible, from street vendors to corporate headquarters.
Please pray for the leaders of the government and for the economy of the country. Both are vital to the future of this beautiful country. |

 Čair & Šutka |
 |
North of the city center, are two areas of Skopje which are completely different. Čair /Chaer/ is a mixed community of Albanians and Macedonians, though the majority is Albanian. Further north is Šutka /Shoot-ka/, an almost totally Roma (Gypsy) community. This is the largest community of Gypsies in Europe.
Pray for the three people groups that live in Northern Skopje - salvation, cooperation with each other, and care for each other. |

 Lisiče |
 |
East of Skopje toward the airport, there are more fields and villages. Communities within this area include: Gazi Baba, Čento, Avtokommanda, Lisiče, Novo Lisiče and others.
Pray that this more rural section will prove to be a rich harvest field for the Kingdom.
Pray for a house church that is meeting in Lisiče. This group is beginning new outreach groups focused on witnessing to their friends and neighbors.
Pray for boldness in proclaiming God's truth. |

Kisela Voda, Kapištec, & Kozle |
 |
The southern areas of Skopje, within reach of a local evangelical church, are places where refugees are living. The church is seeking ways to meet not only the physical needs of these refugees, but their spiritual needs as well. The church is learning to reach out in evangelism. The student dormitory and several shopping centers are also in this area.
Pray that the Voice of God would spread throughout this section of Skopje, and that the result will be spiritual refugees finding a home within the heart of God. |

 Gjorče Petrov |
 |
This western part of Skopje extends far from the city center. Parts of the area have mixed populations, others are either predominately ethnic Macedonians or ethnic Albanians. There are some believers in this area and it is hoped that new work in the area will be fertile.
Pray for their hearts to yearn to learn and accept the words that will lead them to the Savior.
Pray for love among the people here.
Pray for a Bible Study group here.
Pray that believers in this group will be active in praying for the lost and in sharing their faith.
Pray that this group will grow into a new church. |

 Karpoš |
 |
The northwestern area is a large portion of Skopje and contains a large Orthodox church. The area is also very commercial, including a green market and a shopping area known as Bunjakovitz. Further along this section we come to the Karpoš /KAR-posh/ areas. There are 4 Karpoš sections. An estimated 15,000 people live in Karpoš 3 & 4.
Pray for relationships to be built, and at least one Bible study to begin in each section within the next 6 months.
Pray for the Orthodox and the Albanian people to see Christ and that the cross is for each person individually. |
